With a plan from Spot Pet Insurance, pet parents can choose an Accident-Only plan, or an Accident & Illness plan, in addition to preventative care coverage options for an extra cost. Spot Pet Insurance plans also offer an unlimited annual limit option with no per-incident caps, no lifetime caps, and up to 90% reimbursement rate on eligible veterinary costs. With a customized plan provided by Spot, pet parents can choose the policy that helps them get peace of mind, knowing that their companion is covered for unexpected injuries or illnesses.

Once a policy has been purchased, it’s important that pet parents register with the Member Center. The Member Center is a customer portal that gives active policyholders the ability to submit and manage their claims, pet profiles, billing information, and account and provides access to the help center. The Benefits of the Member Center

Manage Claims: Within the member center, pet parents can submit and track claims, as well as review old claims. In addition, the policyholders can select a preferred method of reimbursement for their claims.

Spot Pet Insurance plans offer pet parents the opportunity to receive reimbursement through direct deposit or by check in the mail. The direct deposit option takes about 2-3 business days once the claim has been reviewed and approved, while the check takes about 7 to 10 business days to arrive in the mail.

Manage Pet Profiles: Policyholders can review the details of their Spot Pet Insurance policy from within the Member Center. They are also able to review and manage their pet’s profile or enroll other pets in a pet insurance plan. With Spot plans’ 10% multi-pet discount, each additional pet will have an independent pet insurance policy and is eligible for a 10% discount on premiums.

Manage Billing Information: Within the member center, pet parents can view upcoming payments and previous payment history and update their billing method or address. Policyholders can pay a bill up to 30 days in advance.

Manage Account Details: Through the member center, a policyholder can update their contact information and change their password. Pet parents are also able to add up to 3 co-owners, who will be able to access the account, speak with customer service agents regarding account details, and attend veterinary visits with the pet.

Please keep in mind that all reimbursements for eligible costs and bills will still be processed through the primary owner’s account.

The Help Center: Within the Help Center, pet parents can view Help Articles, frequently asked questions, and can access the Poison Control Hotline, the Vet Locator and the 24/7 Pet Telehealth Helpline provided by VetAccessTM, and additional resources.

The Vet Locator gives pet parents the ability to locate licensed veterinarians close to them by searching according to zip code, city, and state, or the name of the clinic.

The 24/7 Pet Telehealth Helpline provided by VetAccessTM allows policyholders to contact an expert with questions or concerns about their pet’s health or behavior at any time of day. Pet parents can chat, call, or video call. Access to the helpline is free of charge for Spot policyholders.

Additional Features: Through the member center, active policyholders can add their preferred vet clinic to the account. Uploading this information can decrease the processing time for claims, as contact can be made with the vet directly to request additional medical records when necessary.

The Member Center is a portal through which policyholders can manage account information for all active pet insurance policies with Spot Pet Insurance. This portal helps makes it quick and easy to review past transactions, submit new claims, manage pet profiles, update account details, and access additional resources.
