Are you wondering about the main differences between Healthy Paws Pet Insurance plans and Spot Pet Insurance plans?
Here’s what you need to know about some differentiators between these two providers’ plans.
Here’s what you need to know about the differences.
Both Spot plans and Healthy Paws plans cover prescription medications used to treat covered conditions, but Healthy Paws plans do not cover Rx foods or supplements used to treat covered conditions. Plans provided by Spot cover Rx foods and supplements used to treat eligible conditions (as long as a food or supplement is prescribed to treat an eligible condition and not for general health or weight maintenance).
3. Spot plans cover behavioral problems.
Spot Pet Insurance accident & illness plans include coverage for behavioral problems.
4. If you enroll more than one pet, you get a discount with Spot Plans.
Unlike a Healthy Paws plans, if you add on more than one pet in your family, you will be able to get a multi-pet discount. Spot Pet Insurance plans provide a 10 percent multi-pet discount for all additional pets.
Spot Pet health insurance is here for our four-legged friends (and their people). That’s why we offer premium pet insurance plans. Plans provided by Spot only have a 14-day waiting period (including orthopedic concerns like hip dysplasia, unlike some other pet insurance plans). With plans that don’t include upper age limits for older pets and preventative care coverage options (for an additional cost), Spot is here.
