Pet Insurance Employee Benefit
Spot Partners with Employers to Reward Your Hard Work
At Spot, we know many of you work hard to make a better life for your pet. We respect that hard work, and we have a pretty cool employee benefits program that lets employers reward that work and help employee pets lead happier lives.
Similarly to how you can get lower premiums for your human health insurance when you go through your employer, you can get a discount on your pet insurance plan if your employer partners with Spot. Work like a dog, get a treat! Keep reading to learn more.
Discount on Pet Insurance
When you go through a Spot partner employer, you can get up to 20% in discounts (a 10% employee discount on all pets, where available, and an additional 10% multi-pet discount for added pets).*
So, how to begin? Spot has already partnered with many large employers and brokers to bring more hard-working folks into the family. For instance, full time employees are eligible at Oracle, The Walt Disney Company, MasterCard, Cigna, and Taco Bell, just to name a few.
To see if your employer is offering Spot plans as an employee benefit with the Spot employee discount, contact your HR department. We may be listed in your benefits portal or employee marketplace, so browse and see if we’re there. Make sure you sign up through your employer-specific page to get the discount.
If your employer isn’t partnered with us yet, clue them in! Reach out to your HR department and let them know you’re interested in pet work perks. Send them to our employer partnership page to get the ball rolling.
Insurance for Dogs AND Cats
The phrase might be “work like a dog” (cat’s sleep an average of 15 hours a day, so we can’t all work that way) but we’re offering an employer discount to cat parents too! It’s not that we don’t want you to feel special, dog people, we just can’t play favorites when it comes to furry loved ones. At Spot, our plans offer a variety of coverage options for both dogs and cats, including Accident-Only, Accident & Illness, and Preventive Care coverage for an extra cost. Thanks to our customizable coverage options, you can choose the plan that works best for your pet and your budget. Get your facts here about is Pet Insurance Worth It.
Benefits of Spot Pet Insurance Plans
If you’re still wondering why Spot plans are a good pet insurance option, here are some reasons why pet parents consider us one of the best providers out there:
Customizable Coverage Options: Spot Pet Insurance plans offers customizable coverage options to fit your pet's individual needs and your budget. You can choose from several annual limit options, annual deductibles, and reimbursement rates to find a plan that works for you. Learn more about what does pet insurance cover.
Coverage for Curable Conditions: Spot plans don’t cover pre-existing conditions. However, with a Spot plan, pre-existing conditions will no longer be considered pre-existing and may be eligible for coverage if your pet's pre-existing condition is curable, has been cured, and is free from treatment and symptoms for 180 days. (Just keep in mind that this does not apply to ligament and knee conditions. If a knee or ligament condition occurs before the coverage effective date or during a waiting period, any future ones won’t be covered.).
Quick and Easy Claims Process: Spot Pet Insurance plans offer a quick and easy claims process. You can file a claim online or through the mobile app, and most claims are processed quickly. Spot plans also offer direct deposit reimbursement, which means that you can get reimbursed quickly and easily. Learn more about how does pet insurance work.
No Upper Age Restrictions: Spot Pet Insurance plans don't have any upper age restrictions for coverage. This means that once your pet is 8 weeks old, you can enroll your pet and their coverage won’t decline as they get older.
24/7 Vet Helpline: Spot Pet Insurance plans offer access to a 24/7 pet telehealth helpline through VetAccessTM that you can call for advice on your pet's health. This can be a valuable resource if you have questions or concerns about your pet's health outside of regular vet hours. Discounts for Multiple Pets: Spot Pet Insurance offers a 10% multi-pet discount for all additional pets. If you have more than one pet, you can save on your monthly premiums with a Spot plan. Know more about whether I should get pet insurance.
