The Beautiful Colors And Patterns Of Siberian Cats

Known as Russia’s national treasure, Siberian cats have been mentioned throughout Russian history, fairy tales, and folklore for centuries. The Siberian is a slow-maturing cat breed that takes around five years to fully mature. They are known as a kind, playful, and patient cat breed that is excellent for any family looking for a loving, fluffy companion.

As for their looks, the Siberian breed is medium to large-sized, characterized with sweet, expressive faces and plush tails. Their beautiful eyes come in various colors ranging from gold to green, and some cats are naturally born with two different colored eyes! Siberian cats have a full, plush, triple coat that has shielded them from harsh Russian winters for centuries. Their coat sheds extensively in the summer to keep them from overheating.
